The TY students of CBC Monkstown in conjunction with the school’s climate action group are running an initiative to...
‘Plant a Tree in Memory’. Small memory trees are being sold by the TY students for just €5. •The memory tress serve as a poignant remembrance for your loved ones who have passed on and can give you a chance to reflect on the happy memories you treasure, during this holiday season. •The trees are also extremely beneficial to the environment. By purchasing a memory tree, it can be your small but effective step forward to help our planet. •The trees start off at 60/90cm in height and when fully grown after time reach an average of 8/10 feet long, this means your entire garden will not be taken up. •There are two types of memory trees to choose from, a Crab Apple Tree or a Mountain Ash Tree, both priced at just €5. •In CBC Monkstown there will be a corresponding tree which will hang all the names of the loved ones, who all the memory trees are dedicated for. The favourite colour of the loved one will be used to write their names on to. •The memory trees can be bought individually or in bulk, but are available for limited time only •To place an order for your memory tree or for further information contact Charlie at [email protected] You must collect your memory tree from CBC Monkstown on Friday 13th of December Congratulations to our CBC Carol Singers who were in Full Voice at the Monkstown Christmas Tree-Lighting Ceremony.
